Monokulare mit Lupenvorsatzlinsen

Verschiedene Monokulare werden mit einer ans Objektiv aufschraubbaren starken Lupe geliefert. In Verbindung mit einem Plexiglasständer, der dazu dient, den genauen Fokussierungsabstand zu halten, und gleichzeitig ausreichend beleuchtendes Licht durchlässt, können diese Monokulare als kleine Mikroskope gebraucht werden (vgl. dazu auch Tipp 3).

Monoculars with add-on lenses

Various monoculars are supplied with a plus magnifying glass that can be screwed to the objective. In combination with an acrylic stand you can use the monos as a microscope - the stand keepw the exact focus distance and lets in enough light to light up the object looked at (cf. Tip 3).

Die Vergrößerung variiert je nach Ausgangsvergrößerung plus das Mehrfache der Lupe. Also z.B. 8x Monokular mit 3x Lupe ergibt ein 24x Mikroskop.

Magnification varies according to monocular's power plus x-times of the magnifier, i.e. 8x monocular with a 3x magnifier equals a 24 microscope.

Bei mehreren Modellen ist an der Lupe eine Fokussierungsmöglichkeit vorhanden, so dass die Schärfe nachjustiert werden kann (s. Foto r.).

Bei den Monokularen (s. die beiden japanischen Modelle) mit Nahfokus lässt sich dies schon durch den großen Schärfenbereich erreichen.

Several models have a focusing wheel at the magnifier piece as well so that the focus can re-adjusted (s. pic. r.).

You can adjust a wide focusing range already using monoculars with close-focus capability (s. the two Japanese models with stand, lying).

Handmikroskope, die auch als monokulare dinen können

Für Berufe wo ein Mikroskopieren und Betrachten von kleinen Objekten im Freiland notwendig ist, gibt es sogenannte "Feldmikroskope" (engl. fieldscope). Diese haben außer der (fokussierbaren) Lupe noch eine Strichplatte mit Messskala eingebaut, so dass eine Größenbestimmung möglich wird.
Als 8x Monokulare lassen sich das "Macroscope" von RF Inter-Science, das Fieldscope von Brunel Ltd. sowie das Pentax 8x30 benutzen.

Professionals who need microscopes to observe and view deatiled objects outdoors so-called fieldscopes are available. These models also have a reticule with millimeter scales besides the (focusable magnifier) which lets you determine the size of an object.
The "Macroscope" by RF Inter-Science, the Fieldscope by Brunel Ltd. and the Pentax 8x30 can also function as a 8x monocular.

Mit dem "Omniscope" (teilweise noch so oder ähnlich erhältlich) in der Kombination mit ein oder zwei Aufsätzen wird ein 25x oder 75x Mikroskop erreicht.
Docter Monokular mit Leuchttisch

Für das Doctor-Monokular gibt es Aufstecklinsen (vgl. Turmon), welche es ebenfalls zu einem Mini-Mikroskop werden lassen; hierfür gibt es einem Durchlichttisch mit Klemmstativ.
Im weiteren stellt das "Emoskop SM" auch ein Kleinstmikroskop dar.

The "Omniscope" (some versions still available) can be changed to a 25x or 75x microscope.

There are add-on lenses for the Doctor-Monocular (cf. Turmon), thus becoming a small microscope. There is a table for backlight projection and a stand with clamp, too.

Furthermore, the "Emoskop SM" works as a miniature microscope.
